Integrated infrastructure delivery company AECOM is excited to celebrate the promotion of two key leaders in its African operations.

Joe Ndala has been appointed as Managing Director of the South African business.  In addition to Ndala’s current role as the Chief Financial Officer for the Africa operation, he will also be responsible for developing growth for this strategic market, working closely with AECOM’s valued clients and delivery partners.

Bridget Ssamula has been appointed as Managing Director of the East African business. Ms Ssamula, currently the Country Manager for Uganda, will expand her role to focus on the development of AECOM’s strategic client accounts and programmes in this key market.

Ndala and Ms Ssamula will report to AECOM’s Middle East & Africa (MEA) region under the leadership of Hamed Zaghw as Chief Executive and Jason Kroll as Chief Operating Officer.

Carlos Pone, the former Chief Executive for Africa, has recently retired, and has provided valuable insights and support during this important transition.
