Project Description
The project aims to construct a refinery that will initially produce 200 000 bbl/d, with the capacity to later expand this production to 400 000 bbl/d.

Situated over 1 000 acres in central Accra, the refinery will be the largest of its kind in west Africa.

Value
The estimated construction costs are projected at $6-billion.

Duration
The refinery is expected to be ready for production by 2015.

The government of Ghana.
