Company Announcement - The annual festival of fashion, fusion and lifestyle that is South Africa’s popular Eid Shopping Festival will receive the magic touch of Abu Dhabi, as this world-class destination gets ready to showcase its incredible diversity to wow thousands of visitors expected to attend the show.The annual shopping extravaganza, from 4-7 June in Johannesburg and 12-16 June in Durban will see Abu Dhabi and its partners exhibit among hundreds of lifestyle-related exhibits, shopping, displays and a top-class line-up of entertainment.

In addition to being the main sponsors of this exciting event, in conjunction with its partners Etihad Airways and South African Airways, Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) will be showcasing the destination’s incredible diversity as a stopover, cruising, cultural, sports, family, wellness and shopping destination.

Visitors will learn about key experiences and attractions such as the luxury Jumeirah at Etihad Towers; the stunning Yas Marina Circuit, home to the annual F1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix; Ferrari World Abu Dhabi – the world’s largest indoor theme park with the world’s fastest roller coaster; Emirates Palace, which is one of the world’s most opulent hotels; the iconic Capital Gate Tower, the world’s furthest leaning tower; the Saadiyat Cultural District; and of course the Arabian hospitality for which Abu Dhabi is so famous. Abu Dhabi will be launching a range of fantastic hotel offers and Iftar dinners during Ramadan providing an opportunity for families and friends to gather to break the daily fast and experience the tradition and occasion. An exciting entertainment line-up and fun festivities will also be held during the thrilling summer season, spanning 11 June to 5 September. Abu Dhabi Summer Season features world premieres, headline theatre shows, leading illusionists, live children’s shows, top Arab and European comedy acts, and live concerts, and takes place across the emirate with events in Abu Dhabi city, Al Ain and Al Gharbia (Western Region).
