Electricity Access

Electricity access refers to the availability and connection of households, businesses and public facilities to reliable electrical power supply, whether through national grid infrastructure, mini-grids or standalone systems. It is a fundamental development indicator measuring the proportion of a population with access to electricity services sufficient for basic needs such as lighting, communication and productive activities.
