EYKON has been announced as the new name for critical infrastructure support company Landis+Gyr Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) as an independent company from the Landis+Gyr Group.

EYKON will serve customers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Landis+Gyr Group will continue to operate in America and South East Asia.

EYKON is built on a strong foundation of trusted customer relationships, extensive deployed infrastructure and many decades of experience supporting electricity, gas, water and thermal networks across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, it says.

The new name establishes a distinct identity for the enterprise, which reflects the confidence, expertise and responsibility developed over time.

“The new name reflects a business built through the work of our teams, the trust of our customers and the experience we have developed across our markets. We are confident in our ability to continue building and evolving the business under our new identity,” says Landis+Gyr EMEA CEO Robert Evans.

Infrastructure systems are becoming increasingly connected and complex.

By bringing together intelligent endpoints, software, data and services, the company helps utilities and infrastructure operators navigate that complexity with greater clarity, confidence and control.

The new EYKON name and corporate identity will be shared in the coming months. During this period, the business will continue to operate as Landis+Gyr EMEA, it says.
