Project Description
The project involves the development of two new data centres – JHB3 and JHB4.

The projects have a combined capacity of more than 280 MW of IT load and will be located close to AirTrunk's existing JHB1 and JHB2 campuses. 

The purpose-built campuses will support high-density cloud and AI workloads, featuring a flexible, scalable and resilient design.

The data centres will operate at significantly lower power usage levels than conventional data centres. 

The campuses will also include advanced cooling systems that will use 100% recycled water, minimising any impact on local resources.

Potential Job Creation
The project is expected to create more than 3 000 jobs during construction, ongoing employment to locals once operational, and partnerships with local suppliers and contractors to support regional industry.

$6.8-billion.
