TeSys GV2

The GV2 is designed for motors up to 15kW/400V up to 32A. It is one of the commonly used circuit breakers in the world, relied upon for its versatility and robustness.  It is designed in three main versions:

• GV2L is magnetic only motor circuit breaker.
• GV2ME is magnetic and thermal motor circuit breaker.
• GV2P is as GV2ME, but with higher breaking capacity and rotary handle.

TeSys GV3

The GV3 is designed for motors up to 37kW/400V up to 73A. It is an ideal motor circuit breaker and a compact solution, providing both high performance and robustness. The GV3 is designed in two main versions:

• GV3L is magnetic only motor circuit breaker.
• GV3P is magnetic and thermal motor circuit breaker.

Robust and reliable

Schneider Electric has since launched GV4, GV5 and GV6. Through these new additions, the motor control range is now complete. The full range combines the simplicity of standard circuit breakers with the advanced protection of intelligent digital solutions.

TeSys GV4

The GV4 is designed for motors up to 55kW/400V up to 115A. Combining state-of-the-art technology, the GV4 is both compact and robust. Its electronic core gives the GV4 great detection accuracy, with alarming and advanced protections. The GV4 is designed in four main versions:

• GV4L is magnetic only motor circuit breaker.
• GV4P is magnetic and thermal motor circuit breaker.
• GV4PEM is as GV4P, but with advanced protections.
• GV4PB is as GV4PEM, but following UL489 standard.

TeSys GV5 & GV6

The GV5 & GV6 is designed for motors up to 250kW/400V up to 500A. They have advanced thermal-magnetic trip units to provide more effective protection to high power motors in demanding applications.

They provide protection for motors against overloads with selection of a trip class (5, 10 or 20), short-circuits, phase unbalance or phase loss. Moreover, their adjustable over-load and short circuit current settings provide much-needed flexibility.

GV5/6 is designed in 2 main versions:

• GV5P is magnetic and thermal motor circuit breaker up to 110kW.
• GV6P is magnetic and thermal motor circuit breaker up to 250kW.
