Durban-based plastic components manufacturer ABC Plastics is a division of Belgian company NV Dassonville and is owner-managed by founder member Francois Dassonville.

ABC’s plastic injection moulding department began by specialising in custom moulding of plastic components for the local appliance, beverage and furniture industry and now boasts eight different machines that produce in-house and custom moulding at competitive rates.

The company’s Plastisol dip moulding division covers the engineering, medical and automotive industry and is able to dip mould components with a Shore A hardness of between 55 and 95.

Over the years, ABC has added more of its own products to the production line. In 1999, it invested in a plastic blow moulding division and is able to blow bottles or components ranging in size from 15 mℓ to 1 ℓ.

The products manufactured by ABC Plastics’ professional team include plastic end caps, plastic levelling feet, tow hitch covers and PVC hand grips, among others.
