Pneumax, A division of Set Point Industrial Technology (Pty) Ltd. display their on-going support and commitment to skills development, and in turn encourage in the industry by rolling out a pneumatic focussed programme. The training is designed for everyone, from beginners to engineers in need of a refresher. The courses, which cover Basic Pneumatic to Electro Pneumatic Training, encompasses a curriculum that promotes a better understanding in pneumatics and include modules ranging from circuits to safety, components, PLC and actuators. All the courses on offer are accredited with MERSETA (Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services SETA), and designed to meet the needs of a rapidly changing market.

The training boards are designed to complement the hands-on approach favoured, ensuring that attending delegates leave with an understanding of pneumatics, ultimately returning to the industry armed with an ability to lower industry costs by reducing the risk of component damage resulting from incorrect use. The didactic boards are also useful for ‘train the trainer’ environments, as well as in educational institutional settings. Pneumax training courses are available in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town, however the team will accommodate any special requests to undertake on-site or venue training either locally or internationally.
