The plant will be located in Musanze, Northern Province, Rwanda.

Client
Prime Cement.

Project Description
The project entails the construction of a 700 000 t/y grinding plant.

The plant will include a complete range of equipment, from storage to packing, cement loading. a planetary mill gear, filters, a control system and plant automation, a packing plant and weighing and metering systems.

Potential Job Creation
The project is also expected to create more than 1500 jobs.

Value
$65-million.

Duration
Construction of the plant is expected to start in the third quarter of 2018.

Latest Developments
FLSmidth has signed a contract with Prime Cement for the engineering, procurement and supply of equipment for a full-scope cement grinding plant.

The contract will come into effect once FLSmidth receives a down payment from Prime Cement.
