South African pump distribution and solutions company AQS Liquid Transfer, part of the AxFlow Group, has been appointed sole distributor for Toyo Pumps in South Africa.

The Belgium headquartered Toyo Pumps Europe has been engineering heavy-duty slurry pumps since 1948. Over 75 years, Toyo has built a global reputation for performance in the toughest mining, industrial, dredging and construction environments. Their patented agitator technology and wear-resistant construction are purpose-built for high-solids, high-abrasion duty - the applications where conventional pumps fail early.

AxFlow AQS Liquid Transfer is now the exclusive supply channel for the full Toyo range in South Africa, including sales, technical support, and after-sales service, delivered through its national branch network.

“Toyo is a serious addition to our portfolio, [with] 75 years of building pumps for the toughest slurry applications on earth. For our mining and industrial customers, that means a purpose-built solution for exactly the conditions they operate in - backed by our national support network and technical bench,” says AxFlow AQS Liquid Transfer MD Leon Fourie.

Market Presence

The Toyo brand will feature at mining and technical exhibition shows across 2026 and take prime position on the AQS Liquid Transfer stand at Electra Mining Africa 2026, which takes place from September 7 to September 11, 2026, at Nasrec in Johannesburg. Electra Mining Africa is one of Africa’s largest mining and engineering exhibitions.
