AEVERSA Profile

AEVERSA (Applied Electric Vehicle Energy Reticulation Systems Africa) is South Africa's premium dedicated fleet electrification partner.

The company delivers end-to-end battery-electric vehicle and charging infrastructure for commercial fleet operators, covering feasibility, vehicle trials, infrastructure design, installation, solar, battery-energy-storage-systems and long-term network management .

Founded in 2020, AEVERSA was the first company to introduce an electric truck to South Africa. The business has since guided more than 20 major logistics firms through commercial fleet transitions and completed over 35 EV trials across last-mile, middle-mile, and long-haul applications.

Headquartered in Midrand, Gauteng, AEVERSA serves clients across southern Africa with a nationwide footprint of service engineers and a brand-agnostic approach that matches each vehicle, charger, and energy system to the fleet operators route it runs and ensures uninterrupted operations through operations and maintenance support with a 24/7 customer call centre.

Vision

Integrate EV infrastructure into daily fleet operations in a way that makes commercial sense for South African operators.

Mission

Lead the country's fleet electrification by providing end-to-end vehicle and charging solutions that simplify the transition, reduce total cost of ownership, and accelerate the shift toward cleaner commercial transport.

What AEVERSA does

The company operates across four core areas.

Vehicles

AEVERSA partners with global OEMs to supply battery-electric trucks and commercial vehicles suited to South African routes. As the preferred charging partner for both JAC Motors and Volvo, the company tests every vehicle against real-world performance data before recommending it to clients.

Consultation services

Services include fleet audits, vehicle trials on client-specific routes, total cost of ownership (TCO) modelling, energy demand assessment, risk assessment, SLA structuring, and full system design. The Aeversa consulting team has completed over 35 trials, giving it one of the largest commercial EV datasets in the region.

EV chargers

AEVERSA supplies and installs AC chargers, DC fast chargers, mobile chargers, and the fleet optimisation software that runs them. Installed capacity ranges from 7 kW overnight depot charging to 1 MW high-power applications.

Energy management

The company designs integrated solar PV and battery energy storage systems that operate alongside charging infrastructure, protecting clients from load-shedding and giving them control over energy costs. The combined solar, storage, charging, and software package is delivered under the banner of Driving on Sunshine.
