JSE-listed construction company Wilson Bayly Holmes-Ovcon (WBHO) CFO Charles Victor Henwood has announced his decision to resign as CFO and as a director of WBHO, with effect from November 23, owing to his reaching retirement age.

Henwood has served as the CFO of WBHO for 12 years. He will remain with the company to ensure completion of its exit from Australia and to effect a smooth transition of the CFO role to his successor.

WBHO board chairperson Elia Louw Nel expressed the board’s appreciation and gratitude to Henwood for his leadership and contribution to WBHO in a statement on October 10.

Henwood will be succeeded by current WBHO FD Andrew Christopher Logan, a qualified chartered accountant with more than 20 years of service in the company.

Logan will join the board on November 23 as an executive director in the capacity of CFO. He will also be appointed to the board of one of WBHO’s major subsidiaries WBHO Construction.
