Savannah Nonhlanhla Danson has resigned as nonexecutive director of mining and metals processing group Sibanye-Stillwater.

She was a member of the company’s safety and health, remuneration, audit, risk and investment committees.

Her resignation has been attributed to “an increasing external workload”.

Danson was appointed to the board on May 23, 2017.

In addition, Harry Kenyon-Slaney has been appointed as an additional member of the nominating and governance committee with effect from May 1.
