With a tough year behind us, good news is always welcome. To this end, SABAT Batteries has kicked off the year on a positive note by committing to the upliftment of a new generation of youth through its sponsorship of Jacaranda FM’s Good Morning Angels New Years’ Edition, powered by Sabat Batteries.  This sponsorship will see Good Morning Angels announcing 5 students who will be assisted with funding for their 2021 tertiary education.

AutoX, through its SABAT brand, has shown its commitment to several CSI initiatives in the past and the Good Morning Angels campaign provides the ideal platform to make a difference to people in need of upliftment

Corne Strydom, Sales and Marketing Executive at AutoX, says, “Education is central to development and improvement of the lives of young people. It is important in eradicating poverty and hunger as well as promoting sustained, inclusive and equitable economic growth. By investing in the education of South Africa’s future leaders, SABAT is making its own small contribution to helping the country move forward.”

Corne Strydom concludes, “Our purpose is to make a meaningful difference to communities, and in doing so, fulfilling our purpose of effecting positive change in South Africa. Our CSI initiatives are rooted in our core values and we encourage involvement from our employees as we seek to assist those in need through projects that will provide tangible, lasting benefits.”

Good Morning Angels has been a feature on Jacaranda FM breakfast for around sixteen years and its aim is simple: to help, inspire and make the world around us a better place. The programme focuses on individuals in need as well as those who in their way, help others on a daily basis. The success of the programme depends on sponsors and it is here where SABAT batteries has stepped in and has provided bursaries for those who are deserving of financial aid to kickstart their studies.
