The new Super-Screw range from MLT Group is said to allow for a reduction in conveyor downtime, while also improving productivity.

The company asserts that its permanent endless system is simple and quick to install, offering an optimal solution to splice conveyor belts.

The premium Super-Screw system is said to be the first flexible splice to screw in polyurethane, designed for extremely abrasive applications. The polyurethane that composes the upper part of the splice provides a considerable gain in abrasion resistance (15 mm3), while maintaining the flexibility, integration and strength of the original Super-Screw.

The MLT Group also offers Super-Screw Security, which allows users to predict when to change a splice, which aims to optimise maintenance and reduce downtime.

The Super-Screw is suitable for use in a range of applications in cement plants, quarries and surface mines.
