Seacom launches high-capacity Nairobi–Kampala route with automated resilienceSeacom has deployed a new terrestrial network route between Nairobi and Kampala, activating 1 Tb/s of capacity scalable to 30 Tb/s and delivering latency of seven milliseconds to Nairobi. The route uses automated switched optical network technology to reroute traffic in under 50 milliseconds during faults, dual border crossings at Malaba and Busia, and supports interfaces up to 400GE to serve enterprises, service providers and hyperscale customers across East Africa.
