Global supplier and manufacturer specialising in diaphragm pumps, centrifugal pumps and industrial equipment Tapflo has recently introduced a line of submersible pumps to its product range.

This latest addition aims to address a variety of pumping needs, catering to applications involving rainwater and groundwater, as well as liquids containing soft particles, fibrous materials and those with sand and abrasive particles.

Tapflo highlights that its submersible pumps boast a range of features designed to ensure efficient and trouble-free pumping and are available in different sizes and capacities.

“The pumps offer versatility to suit various operational requirements and noteworthy features include models equipped with a level control float switch or sensor for automated and economical duty cycles, ensuring optimal performance,” notes Tapflo MD: South Africa Jason Andrew.

The company’s product line includes drainage pumps, dewatering pumps, and sludge and slurry pumps.

The drainage pumps are engineered to handle tough conditions and are capable of draining down to 1 mm water level on flat surfaces. Offering reliability and versatility, these pumps are said to be ideal for various drainage applications.

For applications involving abrasive materials, Tapflo’s sludge and slurry pumps are recommended. These pumps are designed with a semi-vortex impeller and agitator in chrome alloy, which helps to minimise sludge clogging and ensure smooth operation.

“We invite businesses, industries and homes seeking reliable and efficient submersible pumping solutions to explore this product line,” says Andrew.
