Project Description
The project entails the construction of a 90 000 t/y refinery, which will process brown sugar into white sugar.

Production from the Xinavane refinery will replace imports. The design and engineering of the refinery will integrate proven technology with state-of-the-art Tongaat Hulett process and equipment design to produce high-quality white sugar, meeting international standards and the requirements of its customers. The refinery will also provide for efficient future expansion to match growth in the local and export markets.
