Consulmet (Pty) Ltd is a specialised technology, process and project-house serving the minerals and metals processing industries through the design, supply, construction and operations and maintenance (O&M) of production-ready, processing and beneficiation plants.
In a time where practical skills and specialised mining and process knowledge is becoming a scarce commodity, Consulmet still retains a large “gene pool” of mining, processing and O&M specialists, across the spectrum of requirements, to design, fabricate, implement, operate and maintain minerals and metals processing plants. Consulmet has designed and constructed about 10 processing plants a year, for the past 14 years and has in general done so with the same key personnel. Despite a commodity downturn over the last three years, Consulmet has retained all their key personnel during this period and are therefore poised with all the experience and skills required.
Consulmet’s key performance driver is time, and the focus is to complete everything according to specifications and quality control standards in the shortest possible time. This again, is not only facilitated through a very experienced team, but also by embracing a flat management structure, whereby decisions are taken quickly and converted into action even quicker. It is status quo to see Consulmet directors and HOD’s directly involved on the ground during the execution of projects.
High level, specialised, complicated and sometimes sensitive as these technologies are, we have taken our projects and these technologies successfully into some of the harshest conditions and locations on the planet. Our teams are accustomed to adapting and thriving in any conditions, by going that extra personalised mile.
