WAITING & CELEBRATING

WAITING & CELEBRATING: While several countries began ramping up their mass vaccination campaigns at the start of 2021, South Africans began the year anxiously waiting for the start of a domestic roll-out. Nevertheless, the overall mood has been celebratory, given the importance of the vaccine in ending what has been, and still is, an economically and psychologically devastating pandemic.
