Project Description
The the UFH student housing project is the biggest-ever undertaken by a South African public university.

Phase 1 of the project was completed in 2014 and resulted in 610 beds being made available to the university. Phase 2 will add another to 2 047 beds. The student village includes a new student centre and a dedicated postgraduate accommodation block.

The project is valued at R400-million and is being funded by the Department of Higher Education and Training, the Development Bank of Southern Africa and the European Union.
