Kajal Singh has been appointed acting CFO of Umgeni Water with immediate effect and until such time as an appointment for the position of permanent CE has been finalised.
The follows an announcement by the company on October 22 that former CFO Nomalungelo Mkhize had been appointed acting CE.
Singh has been the treasury and financial planning manager at Umgeni since December 2005 and the board has full confidence that she will be able to fulfil the role as acting CFO, the company says.
