The University of Cape Town will host a two-hour webinar on the future of oil and gas in South Africa on June 7.
This webinar will take a 10- to 25-year view on the future of oil and gas in South Africa and the broader Southern African region. It will ask critical questions about the way forward.
All attendees are invited to contribute to "visionary thinking, insightful commentary, and constructive debate on the future of oil and gas in the Southern African region".
Key topics for discussion will include the response of the oil and gas sector to a low-carbon energy imperative and what the specific challenges and opportunities are for South Africa and the region.
