Thermal camera with user-friendly features

New Fluke TiS20+ handheld thermal camera available from COMTEST

A new handheld thermal camera is said to put the power of thermal imaging at users’ fingertips.

The FLUKE TIS20+ from local representative, COMTEST, with touchscreen Infrared- (IR-) fusion, point-shoot-fix and asset tagging is designed to save time by delivering the right level of IR and analysis.

The thermal imager is specifically designed for:

The unit can be used in a variety of settings, such as inspecting heating, ventilation and air conditioning on a rooftop, scanning a motor at a remote plant, or locking out an electrical panel.

Fluke’s IR-Fusion uses a thermal image overlaid on a visual light image, designed to give users the full picture of where the issue is before it becomes a problem. The level of IR can be adjusted by swiping across the screen. If an uneven load is found on a switchgear or an inspection is carried out on a ventilation system, the Fluke TiS20+ helps detect issues which may need further attention. It can withstand a 2 m drop-test, is IP54 rated for water resistance and IP54-rated for dust resistance.

Asset tagging allows the user to scan a QR code on the asset, and the system automatically sorts captured thermal images according to asset class.

Fluke Connect desktop software facilitates the creation of reports, while also capturing full radiometric data to support maintenance programs.

Additional features of the software include:

Fluke asserts that its professional tools offer the power and features that get the job done quickly, safely and efficiently.
