Canada-based Star Diamond on Tuesday completed the transaction to buy Rio Tinto Exploration Canada’s (RTEC’s) 75% interest in the Fort a la Corne project, in central Saskatchewan.
Star Diamond has issued 108.20-million shares to RTEC, which now owns 19.9% of the diamond junior’s shares.
The companies in November last year announced the transaction.
