Corporate and VIP aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) company, Execujet MRO Services, has been certified by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Execujet MRO Services is based at Lanseria International Airport, northwest of Johannesburg, in Gauteng province. The certification followed a stringent safety, quality and facilities audit of the operation by the FAA.

“The FAA certification is a valuable endorsement of our ongoing investment and focus on safety, quality and skills,” affirmed Execujet MRO services VP: Africa Vince Goncalves. “It permits us to inspect, maintain and make alterations to US-registered aircraft, their engines, avionics, flight instruments and other accessories, at our Lanseria International Airport repair centre”.

The company is able to maintain and support aircraft of many makes and types of aircraft and has airworthiness authority approvals from a number of sub-Saharan African civil aviation authorities. It can provide line and base maintenance services 24 hours a day, as well as mobile repair services for aircraft across the region, distant from its Lanseria facility.

“I would like to thank our team for their dedication and hard work to obtain this certification,” he highlighted. “The aviation industry relies on sound maintenance and we, as a provider, have a responsibility to ensure we do this to the highest standards.”
