Project Description
Sappi is converting PM2 from coated wood-free graphic paper operation to a solid bleached sulphate board operation.

Machine capacity will also be increased during the conversion from 240 000 t/y to 470 000 t/y.

The investment is aligned with Sappi’s Thrive25 strategic focus to reduce its exposure to graphic papers and transition its portfolio to packaging and specialty papers, pulp and biomaterials.
