East Rand-based Seal & Gasket Supplies, which has been in operation since 1981, is a manufacturer and distributor of high-pressure hydraulic and pneumatic sealing products, including O-rings, oil seals, PTFE seals, gaskets, rubber-moulded seals and custom-made parts.
Says a spokesperson: “Our specialised production extends across a range of standard, modified and custom-manufactured seal profiles in polyurethane, nitrile, viton, EPDM, PTFE, engineering plastics and many specialised materials.”
The main equipment in Seal & Gasket Supplies’ factory, located at the Troika industrial park, in Meadowdale, Edenvale, includes a computer numerically controlled seal-making machine that reportedly spins the largest diameter in the southern hemisphere. The factory, warehouse and offices occupy a total of 530 m2.
The company boasts Level 1 black economic-empowerment certification and has won numerous Supplier of the Year awards for its strict attention to customer service, quality and speed of service.
