Sakeliga appoints Lamberti chief economist

Business organisation Sakeliga has appointed nonexecutive director Russell Lamberti chief economist, effective September 1.

He will be responsible for economic and policy analysis at the organisation, aimed at regulatory reform and developing private sector solutions.

Lamberti will also provide strategic and managerial input in support of Sakeliga’s mission of building independent business communities.

“He will not only lead the economic and policy team, but also help us conceptualise and implement solutions to State-proof economic activity and boost businesses’ independence in a difficult operating environment, in the interest of prosperity and societal flourishing,” explains CEO Piet le Roux.
