East Rand-based Reliable Transformers has been in operation since 1982, manufacturing and supplying all types of oil-cooled and dry-type transformers, chokes and reactors of up to 3.5 MVA.
The company, which is wholly owned by CEO Andre van Zyl and employs about 80 people – some of whom have been with the company for more than 25 years – operates in accordance with the Sans 780 standard and is working towards attaining ISO 9001 accreditation.
Reliable Transformers’ premises are at 17 Lincoln road, in the Atlas industrial park, in Benoni South. The covered factory area is 4 250 m2.
