Marc Wainer
Real estate investment trust (Reit) Redefine Properties founder, former chairperson and CEO Marc Wainer passed away on April 20, at the age of 71.
Wainer retired from the company at the end of August last year.
According to a statement on Monday, he was instrumental in transforming Redefine Properties into a global Reit with interests in commercial property diversifying into new markets such as Poland, the UK, Germany and Australia and alternative investments such as student accommodation, as well as a one-off residential play.
