READY TO SHIP

The Asia Vision liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier docked at the Sabine Pass terminal, in the US state of Louisiana, late last month. The arrival signals the imminent start of LNG exports as a result of the US shale boom. Once operational, Sabine Pass will be the first American LNG export terminal outside Alaska. The US has been exporting LNG mostly to Japan from Alaska since 1969.
