Range of crushing and screening equipment available

A range of crushing and screening equipment designed for use in demanding conditions, offers high output, durability and extended service life.

The S-Series and R-Series screeners from McCloskey International are designed with a high-energy screen box and large screening areas.

The S130 screener is used for fine sand screening and promises high-production capacities and user-friendly operation, in a compact design. The machines are available with either track or wheel mobility and are suitable for handling a range of different materials, including aggregate, coal, crusher circuits and wood chips.

The machine, powered by a 75 kW diesel engine, comprises screenbox dimensions of 4 200 mm x 1 524 mm and is designed to meet demands for more screening capacity than a 10 ft or 11 ft screen box that may not require the higher capacity of a 20 ft plant.

Additional features of the model include remote-control grid-tipping and a wedge-system, designed for faster screen changes. The hydraulic linkage structure enables screen coverage at varying screenbox angles, also allowing greater accessibility for screen changes.

The hopper has a 4 267 mm grid opening, to accommodate the use of larger loading shovels. The 1 200 mm feed conveyor aims to provide high-capacity screening. Stockpile heights of 3.87 m and 4.6 m can be achieved with the tail conveyor and side conveyor respectively.

The S130 screeners include safety features such as an emergency stop facility and a start-up siren. External belt alignment and grease points facilitate maintenance of the screeners.

HPE Africa’s range of McCloskey equipment includes jaw, cone and impact (horizontal and vertical) crushers; trommel and vibrating screeners; stacking conveyors and washing systems.

The equipment is suitable for use in applications such as aggregates, landscaping, infrastructure and road building, construction and demolition, mining, waste management and recycling.

HPE Africa provides a support service for the equipment, including technical advice, repairs, maintenance and a parts facility.
