RamPiping Systems

East Rand-based RamPiping Systems – a fabricator, supplier and installer of piping and related products – has been in operation since 2006 and currently employs 22 permanent workers and around 50 contractors.

The company’s product range includes high-density polyethylene, low-density polyethylene and uPVC piping and piping components, steel piping, plate flanges and fasteners and related products.

The company’s 2 100 m2 factory, at 61 Palmer street, in Alrode South, is equipped with thermoplastics welding machines, a bending oven, chain beds and site generators.

The company has, in the recent past, undertaken work for a desalination plant in Mossel Bay; Johannesburg’s Rea Vaya bus rapid transit system; the Kinsevere mine, in the Democratic Republic of Congo; Zimbabwe’s Bindura Nickel Corporation; the Kayelekera uranium mine, in Malawi; the North Mara mine, in Tanzania; Harmony Gold’s Doornkop plant, in Randfontein; and Xstrata Eastern Mines, in Steelpoort.
