Powermite’s product offering comprises flexible industrial and mining cables, as well as specialised reeling cables; conductor and festoon systems for overhead cranes; spring and motor-driven cable reeling drums; industrial plugs and sockets in plastic and metal; flameproof plugs, sockets and connectors; multipole industrial connectors and mil-spec connectors; energy (drag) chains; buffers for cranes; tacho generators; crane controllers; brakes and clutches; pendant controllers; slip-ring assemblies and couplers for motors.
The Ampco range of industrial plugs and sockets are manufactured in South Africa at Powermite’s manufacturing facility and have mining and surface certification according to SANS 1239:2004. The company’s products also boast Nosa/ISO ratings ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007.
