Project Description
Modern Kraton is extending and modernising its existing line. The contract includes a new stock preparation line for pulp and recovered paper.
The project will increase production by 30% and allow for the processing of recovered paper with a maximum contaminant content of 12%. This means that the increasingly poorer-quality recovered paper used by the mill can be readily processed while improving the cleanliness of the finished stock. An innovative water management control system that automatically controls the complete water system for the entire production line in a wide range of operating conditions will also be implemented.
