It may have been in Barcelona, but it was not at the hallowed Camp Nou stadium – neither was it football legend Lionel Messi. Instead, a gesture-controlled robot was photographed playing football at the Huawei Technologies pavilion during the 2019 Mobile World Congress (MWC19), which took place in late February. MWC19 Barcelona hosted over 2 400 exhibitors, which showcased their latest innovations in smartphones, artificial-intelligence devices and autonomous drones.
