Earthmoving equipment distributor High Power Equipment (HPE) Africa will display its complete product range at the inaugural bauma Africa trade show, including the recently launched McCloskey brand and -9 range of Hyundai excavators, wheel loaders and backhoe loaders.

HPE Africa regards the event as an opportunity to liaise with businesses north of the South African boarder, which it hopes will help establish links with the rest of Africa.

“HPE Africa will launch a new facility in Zimbabwe later this year – a market that has been very popular for many years. The company would like to establish itself as an upcoming South African market leader in the construction equipment industry by providing a high-quality service. “HPE Africa increased its presence and capabilities in the Eastern Cape in the middle of this year, as the developing province presents a great opportunity for growth,” notes HPE Africa GM Neil Sauls.

HPE further regards the trade show as an opportunity to promote itself and inform the relevant industry-specific personnel about company products and their individual advantages.

“HPE will have component-specific industry experts at its exhibition stand to answer any questions. An engineer from diesel engine manufacturer Cummins will also be at the stand, where a range of engines will be displayed, to answer any questions with regard to the Hyundai products fitted with Cummins engines,” he adds.

HPE Africa believes it is important to take part in bauma Africa, as it allows the company to showcase its new and existing equipment and the capabilities it can offer the market, such as reliability and functionality of equipment, he comments, adding that “the trade show is a great opportunity for employees from HPE Africa to engage with the company’s potential clients and existing client base from South Africa and abroad”.

Sauls says bauma Africa offers South African and African construction industry members a much-needed platform to discuss opportunities and new advances in the industry. “When a wealth of knowledge and expertise are brought together in such a context, it can only be beneficial to all parties involved and the economies they support,” he concludes.
