Nersa approves 13% average tariff increase for Tshwane

The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa) has approved a 13.07% average tariff increase for the City of Tshwane metropolitan municipality for the period from July 1, 2019, to June 30, 2020.

The approved tariffs were implemented from August 7, following a public hearing held in July to consider the application by the municipality.

All tariffs charged from July 1, must comply with Nersa’s decision.
