The upcoming Power Generation Summit will feature a host of expert speakers, including Mr. Gabriel Kroes of IMPOWER speaking to the topic of PV Solar and Battery Storage.
The Summit will take place as a virtual online conference on the 25th September 2020 and provides complimentary access for all delegates to attend and to participate in the discussions.
Given his vast experience in the PV Solar and battery storage markets, as well as being Head of Engineer at IMPOWER, Mr. Gabriel Kroes will provide insightful thought provoking content in his presentation. Having developed solar and battery solutions of up to 10MW as distributed and embedded generation predominantly to the C&I markets, he holds over a decades’ worth of experience within the broader energy space based in Cape Town.
Furthermore, Mr. Kroes has led several teams working on numerous asset management and engineering projects, energy efficiency projects and renewable energy and energy storage (battery) projects in Southern Africa and abroad. Mr. Kroes led energy market research projects for the CTCN (UNDP) across 10 Southern African countries and was intricately involved in the sizing, site evaluation and modelling of the ESKOM battery project.
Supporting his speaking role, Mr. Kroes will be chairing the full day Summit.
