From its humble beginnings in 1996 as a Cape Town-based family- owned business, Motorelli Electric Motors has grown into one of the largest electric motor importers and distributors in South Africa, serving not only this country but also the rest of the continent.
The company, which employs 33 people, has premises in Boksburg, east of the Johannesburg central business district, the Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and the North West.
The range of electric motors distributed by the SABS 1804- accredited company includes high-voltage motors, steel-frame mining motors, scraper-winch mining motors, high-efficiency motors, three-phase motors, stainless-steel motors for the food industry, large-frame motors, brake motors, flameproof motors, vibrator motors, single-phase motors, marine-specification motors and pump motors, besides others.
