JSE-listed Master Drilling has appointed Mamokete Ramathe as an independent nonexecutive director to the board, with effect from July 26.
She is the founder and CEO of Mamor Capital, an investment company with interests in the information and communications technology sector.
Ramathe is a seasoned investment executive with more than 18 years of experience in financial services, spanning corporate finance advisory services, private equity, mergers and acquisitions and infrastructure finance.
Her board experience includes serving on local and international companies, at both listed and unlisted company level.
Ramathe currently serves as a nonexecutive director of Outsurance Holdings, where she is a member of its investment committee, and as a nonexecutive director of JSE-listed Bell Equipment Limited, where she serves as chairperson of its social, ethics and transformation committee, and as a member of its audit committee.
