Kintetsu World Express (KWE) is an integrated global logistics company with a presence in Europe, the Middle East, East Asia, South-East Asia, Africa and the Americas. Its network covers a wide range of industries, including automotive, aerospace, agriculture, mining, power generation, oil and gas, medical and heavy engineering, as well as the high-tech sector.

KWE was established in 1970 and its South African office currently employs 182 people and its yearly turnover is in the region of R2-billion. Besides a 10 000 m2 warehouse and 1 800 m2 of office space at its main premises in Jet Park, on Gauteng’s East Rand, the ISO 9001:2008-accredited company also has offices and two warehouses of 9 000 m² and 5 500 m² in Durban, offices and a warehouse in Cape Town and offices in Port Elizabeth.

KWE South Africa’s most recent contracts included one awarded by a power generation company for shipping, warehousing and transportation.
