Asset manager Investec and Investec Limited have been approved for secondary listings on A2X Markets.
Investec is an Anglo-South African international banking and wealth management group listed on the JSE and the LSE, while Investec Limited is listed on the JSE, as well as the Botswana and Namibian stock exchanges.
Investec aims to provide its investors with a greater choice in trading venues and believes the secondary listings support the development of a healthy local market.
The asset manager joins Standard Bank as the second major South African bank to list on the A2X, in addition to other large companies – Naspers, Sanlam, Sasol, Aspen Pharmacare, Exxaro Resources, Growthpoint and Famous Brands.
