South Africa's Imperial Logistics Limited said on Monday it is exploring all options for its international business as it looks to focus more on Africa.
"As previously communicated, achieving Imperial's strategic ambitions to serve as the 'Gateway to Africa' requires us to assess and align our international portfolio with our core competitive advantages," Imperial said on a trading update.
Imperial, an African and European-focused distributor of automotive, chemicals, pharmaceutical and consumer goods also said the significant impact of Covid-19 has also required the firm to prioritise its capital allocation for strategic areas in Africa.
