Engineering components provider Bearing Man Group (BMG) has extended its range of pneumatic and hydraulic filtration products and systems to include Parker motion and control technologies, says BMG executive director Gavin Pelser.

BMG signed a distribution deal with global motion and control technologies specialist Parker Hannifin on September 18.

“Parker’s engineering expertise, which is a perfect fit with BMG, encompasses electro- mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic, fluid and gas handling, filtration, sealing, climate control and aerospace technologies,” adds Pelser.

He says the partnership agreement enables both companies to reach new markets throughout sub-Saharan Africa, particularly in mining, manufacturing, processing, transport, construction and logistics.

BMG supports a comprehensive range of engineering components – including bearings, seals, power transmission and electric and geared motors, as well as belting, fasteners, filtration and hydraulics – with engineering solutions and technical services that improve productivity and enhance process plant operating reliability.

The company says diverse industries can now access all critical production-efficient products and services from one reliable supplier – BMG. This means lower production costs and higher production efficiency, giving South African industry a distinct competitive advantage.

BMG’s on-site maintenance services also ensure machine reliability, efficient maintenance procedures and optimum control in breakdown situations.

To enhance sustainability, BMG offers extensive training, which covers electricals, mechanicals, hydraulics, pneumatics, elec- tronics and materials handling disciplines, as well as predictive maintenance and component failure analysis.

Specialist engineering hubs, encompassing assembly and support operations, offer a combined technical expertise and value-added product solution to enhance the company’s service in carefully identified regions.

BMG has a network of over 100 branches in Africa, which distribute seals, power transmission components, electric and geared motors, as well as belting, fasteners, filters and hydraulics.
