Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has created yet another devastating refugee crisis as people flee brutal aggression. Pictured here, mostly women and children queue under a Ukraine flag to board a shuttle bus after crossing into Poland at the border checkpoint in Medyka. The hospitable response from Ukraine’s European neighbours has been heartening.
