Project Description
The Grand Paris Express is Europe’s biggest infrastructure project and includes the addition of 68 new stations and 200 km of track to the Paris underground railway.  

The Paris Metro Line 18 is part of the work on the Grand Paris Express and includes boring a 6.7 km tunnel between the Saint-Quentin Est and Versailles-Chantiers stations, in western Paris, and building three stations and eight ancillary infrastructures.

Potential Job Creation
The project is expected to create about 350 jobs, and at least 10% of work hours will be allocated to people who are unemployed, which will benefit about 40 people in the Yvelines region. 

Capital Expenditure
The project is estimated at €36-billion.

Planned Start/End Date
Work on the Paris Metro Line 18 is expected to take 104 months to complete.
