Project Description
The project is expected to become Malawi’s first utility-scale solar-plus-storage project.

Theproject includes the construction of a 20 MWac solar PV and 5 MW/10 MWh lithium-ion battery energy storage project. The inclusion of lithium-ion batteries behind the meter at this scale will be a first in sub-Saharan Africa.
